First post 2008

I was asked when I was going to do an update and I really haven't had much to write about the past few months. I hope that 2008 will be better then 2007. Honestly i'd like to just forget 2007 and put the year deep where we may forget some of the events that we faced.
I really think the new year will be a year of growing and learning. I do not know if we will grow as an organization animal wise but more as a sanctuary. We continue to receive letters and phone calls from people requesting that we take their pets and honestly I get so sick of it. Yea, there are a few that are legit but others just want to "dump off" their issues on us and it just isn't going to happen any more. Right now we have something like 18 cats, 5 dogs, 7 goats and 8 horses. Maxed out! Maybe by this spring we'll be able to build some more, (thanks to Joyce for all the fenceing) and take some new rescues. Long day....goodnight. MH
