October Update

Yea, I know we haven't been putting out the posts like were supposed to but it seems like our posts are depressing. Like this month we had two of our cats pass away. I won't go into detail of what happened but maybe it is to be expected on a sanctuary. Animals will kill other animals, rescues will kill other rescues. We have had it suggested that we build a big cat compound but I don't want to take away their natural habitat, not to mention, has anyone really tried to contain a cat?. The dogs are different, they just need a warm meal, and area to run, a bed to sleep in and a place to ....

Besides all this, all is well. Just bought 100 bails of hay for the animals. That should see them through the winter. Hopefully it will be a mild one but if not, we'll be more prepared this year.
