Were growing.....
I don't think I ever realized how quickly a rescue could grow. In a way it is sad because it means more and more people are giving up their animals. This is not to say that ones that give animals are doing anything wrong, it just becomes more stress for us. At first when we had just a few animals it was exciteing in a way, now I dread it when I hear the phone ring and I do not recognize the phone number. I hate to say no to taking in new animals but we are self funded and busting at the seams. We get the donation on occasion and that means the world to us but feeding 6 horses, 16 cats, seven dogs and three goats starts to get to ya after a while. If this were the only job we had and we could spend 15 hours a day with the animals it would be different.
I don't plan to make all the blogs matters of distress this is more a public diary of emotions. Apologies in advance.
Thanks to Evan, Lucy, Fran, Louann, Tonnya, Noae and Mike for the donations of finance, food and medical care for the animals. We love you guys :)

This is an amazing site. I commend the owner/operator for his social conscience and dedication to the preservation of pigs everywhere.
AMEN!
