Just saying no

When I got up for work this morning I had a slight head ache due to the amount of stress lately with the animals. It's not so much stress from the animals, just stress in general. I got a call this afternoon from a co-worker/friend who is moving and needs to get rid of his 6 pigs, yep, six pigs. He also needs a new home for his cat and if not to much trouble, the rooster that hangs out at his place. With in twenty minutes my cluster headache went into a migraine. By the time I got home I was sick to my stomach. I know God will not give us more then we can handle but what about the ability to say NO. I have said no in the past but for some reason I wasn't able to do so with the pigs. Knowing well that if I did say no, they will end up on someones dinner plate. I don't believe it is the pigs that are stressing me out, it is the fact that I know have to build a new pen by Friday. No problem if I didn't work 45-50 hours a week.
I know it will be done.
On a better note though, we did get a money donation from a dear friend of mine in Michigan. That came at a perfect time. Also this evening, my new boss and friend purchased a large amount of cat and dog food for the sanctuary. With anguish, there seems to be a comfort not to far behind.
