Here we grow again...

The times just seem to get busyer as we go. The other day when Deb and I were out feeding the animals I saw a little head pop out of the shelter in the barn. We had a baby goat. Three days later, we were blessed with two more baby goats. We knew the females were pregnant but didn't realize that they would be here so soon. Now daddy, not me, is going to go and get fixed. Not that I wouldn't want a whole slew of baby goats but....
Where are we at now in animals? Last count, 18 cats, 7 dogs, 6 goats, and 7 horses and a number of deer living out in the acres.

If wondering, yes we need to see if we can get some donations of food for the animals. If you can't send food through the mail, gift cards from Southern States, Tractor Supply Co. or even Pet Smart would be much appreciated.

LR news

It has been a pretty busy few weeks. We had six cats fixed a few weeks ago and that went well. (don't think that the cats would agree.....) Unfortunality one of the cats, U.J. died shortly after. We believe the cause of death was he was either being stepped on or kicked by one of the horses. The horses never have been aggressive toward the cats but that is the only conclusion that we could come up with. U.J. was buried next to his buddy Jack. Tabs, the new mother cat will be fixed once she weens her three new born kittens.
Blogs may be late for a while due to we have no internet at the present time. Looking into getting satalite internet that is supposed to be the new, big thing. If that goes through, the LR website will be up and running again.
